Tottenham Hotspur may not be looking to sell their “gunslinger” Harry Kane, 30, at least not to a team in the same league.먹튀검증

“With Tottenham refusing to sell Kane, Manchester United (Man Utd) are considering a move for another striker,” the Manchester Evening News reported on Monday (June 26).

Kane has scored 28 goals and provided three assists in 37 appearances this season, and he’s still going strong. If it weren’t for Elling Holland (Man City, 36 goals), who is running at a frightening pace, he would be in contention for the top scorer’s award.

Kane is out of contract with Tottenham next summer and is on the radar of several big European clubs. Manchester United, Real Madrid (Spain), Paris Saint-Germain (France), and Chelsea (England) have all been linked with a move.

The Red Devils are currently struggling in the striker department. As a result, there has been talk of a move for Kane in the summer transfer window. In March, the Mirror reported that “Manchester United could offer more than the £100 million ($164.2 million) transfer fee that Jack Grealish received for his move to Manchester City in 2021”. That would be the highest EPL transfer fee ever for an English player, suggesting that the Red Devils are desperate for Kane.

However, Tottenham are unlikely to sell Kane to United. “Chairman Daniel Levy has said he will not sell Kane,” according to the Manchester Evening News, “refusing to sell despite being in a worse position than he was two years ago.” Kane has indirectly hinted at a move before, appearing on Gary Neville’s YouTube channel following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in 2021.

“United manager Eric ten Haag wants Kane, but the club is reluctant to negotiate with chairman Levy, who has stalled talks,” the outlet reported in April, quoting a source as saying, “There are even jokes about getting rid of Levy to get Kane.”

Tottenham is currently in eighth place in the EPL for the 2022-23 season with 57 points as of June 26, a far cry from third-place Manchester United (72 points). However, just last month they were still within striking distance of each other, with one game in hand. It’s a sign that they can’t afford to lose to a potential rival.

Tottenham’s intentions are also reflected in the latest rumors linking Kane to a move to Real Madrid. “Tottenham have made a counter-offer to Real Madrid for Kane,” Spanish outlet Cadena Ser reported on June 26. This suggests that Spurs would rather sell Kane to a rival league.
