“Official sponsor Kelme’s ‘VORTEXAC23’ will be the official ball for the upcoming Asian Cup,” the AFC said on Tuesday.

The Asian Cup was originally scheduled to be held in China, but the country pulled out of the tournament in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Qatar was subsequently selected as the new host after winning a bidding war with South Korea. The tournament will take place from 12 January to 10 February next year.

South Korea, coached by Jürgen Klinsmann, have been drawn in Group E alongside Malaysia, Jordan and Bahrain.
