| Interesting player. Has good size and speed. Good athlete. At the Combine, Ghee ran the fastest official time of any CB at 4.45. He had a broad jump of 10'7". He had a 3-cone time of 6.75. He's big at 6'0, 192 and has long arms. I thought he had a solid showing in the drills. Ghee caught the ball well in a couple of drills. He did have one drop. That is important for him because of how few career INTs he had. Amazingly, Ghee started for 3 years on a good defense and only had 1 INT. For a guy with his size and ability that is really odd. Ndamunkong Suh had more picks this year.
Ghee plays trail coverage most of the time. He's athletic enough to do that and then break on the ball when it does come to his receiver. Ghee has the ability to break up passes, but I haven't seen great ball skills. Quick. Fast. Agile. Good downfield PBU vs Ga Tech. Went up for the ball and knocked it away from D Thomas. He looks like a solid tackler. Finished his career with 110 solo stops and 12.5 TFLs, both very good totals for a CB. I think teams that covet players with man-to-man skills will love Ghee. He's going somewhere in the 2nd round. He could be more of a playmaker in the NFL, but you can't count on that. |
