Good size. 5-11, 215. Slasher. Likes to hop, skip. Has some pop. Good when he gets a head of steam built up. Very impressive TD run vs Pitt. Started to the right, stopped quickly and headed out around LT. Made one guy miss, then used a good burst to get down by the goal line. Knocked over one defender and fought his way into the endzone. Okay COD. Good vision. Effective receiver. Strong and physical enough to break tackles. Needs to be better in pass pro. Waits for the rusher to come to him. Good stiff arm. Normally hits the hole hard. Played in the Senior Bowl, some FB and some RB.
SUMMARY
Smith is fun to watch. He's not the most talented guy, but he knows that. Kolby plays hard. He will run over DBs and take his shots at LBs as well. He's an effective receiver. Could be a good rotational RB in the NFL. Will go in the 4th or 5th Rd. |
