4 year starter. Played LDE for 3 years, then moved to RDE as a Senior. Lacks top burst. Okay S-L speed. Has spin move, but isn’t quick enough for the move to really throw off OL. Disciplined. Keeps contain. Has okay S-L speed. Hustles. Has a good motor. Plays both L & R. Good effort player. Will battle blockers to get to ball. Stout. Can hold the POA. Looks at his best when he’s running. Uses his hands and arms pretty well. Looked okay at the Senior Bowl and Combine. Did 32 reps, 2nd highest total among DEs.
SUMMARY
The only things really hurting Crowder are the lack of a special burst and the lack of top agility. I think of him as a 3rd/4th Rd player because of that. I just don't think he's a good enough pass rusher to spend a high pick on. |
