Little Caesars Bowl – 730pm – Espn
#82 Jack Doyle – TE – 6’6/253
This will be my first look at Doyle. 1st Team All Sun Belt in 2012, 2nd team in 2011. Good size, above average production. Has been the team’s number one receiving threat for two years now.
#79 Eric Fisher – OT – 6’8/305
One of the top left tackles in college football. Would not be surprised if you told me right now he’ll be the first offensive lineman taken. Put him in one of the major conferences and he would me mentioned with Joeckel/Matthews/Loewan. Light on his feet, but he is not a finesse player at all. He plays very physical, can really make an impact in the running game. Plays high in pass protection, and does not have the power to overwhelm the defensive ends yet. He’ll need technique work but its not a flexibility or athleticism issue at all. I’ve seen him twice and I think he grades out in the top 20 of this class. Big time potential once he fills out a bit more.
#4 Jahleel Addae – S – 5’11/200
Top defender in this game. Really fun player to watch, reminds me of a Troy Polamalu type. Plays downhill as good as any safety in this class. Hits harder than a lot of linebackers. High success rate when tackling, does not allow many ball carries get away. Big time closing speed, I’ll put his 10 yard splits up against anyone. Shows quick reaction in coverage, smart player. Struggles once he has to start moving backwards though. Not a fluid turner when tracking the ball/receiver downfield. In a suspect safety class, Addae could be a top 100 pick.
