* Oregon LB Michael Clay was in on 13 total tackles (10 solo) vs Arizona. He had 2 TFLs and a FF.
* Arkansas had a wild passing day vs Rutgers. QB Tyler Wilson returned from injury and was 20-39-419. He threw 3 TDs and 2 INTs. WR Cobi Hamilton was 10-303 with 3 TDs. Razorback LB Alonzo Highsmith was in on 15 total tackles and had 2 TFLs.
* LSU stud DE Sam Montgomery had 3.5 TFLs (1 sack) vs Auburn.
* Baylor QB Nick Florence was 26-39-351 vs ULM. He had 4 TDs, 2 INTs. WR Terrance Williams was 4-84 with 2 of the TDs.
* DL Morgan Breslin had 3.5 sacks for USC. Big game.
* Florida State QB E.J. Manuel posted big numbers vs Clemson, going 27-35-380 with 2 TDs, no INTs. Lots of open guys and big plays. He was also 11-102 on the ground.
* Undersized RB Kerwynn Williams had a big day for Utah State. He was 21-205-2 on the ground and caught 3 passes in their win over CSU.
* North Carolina LB Kevin Reddick was in on 9 tackles, and had a PBU and FF as well.
* RB Le’Veon Bell continues his crazy workload. This time the Michigan State star had 36 carries for 253 yards and a TD. Bell is 2nd in the nation in carries.
* Vandy WR Jordan Matthews was 8-119 vs UGA.
* Georgia star Jarvis Jones had 7 total tackles and 3 TFLs in that game.
* RB Stefphon Jefferson had a monster game for Nevada. He was 31-170 on the ground. He ran for 6 TDs!!! Wow. He also caught 3 passes for 76 yards and a TD. 7 scores in one game? Really impressive, even vs Hawaii. Jefferson is only a Junior, but leads the nation in rushing yards and carries.
* Wyoming WR Chris McNeill was 8-219-1 vs Idaho. Long catch was 80 yards.
* La Tech QB Colby Cameron lit up the Illinois D. He was 15-22-284 with 4 TDs. That is some efficient QB play. WR Quinton Patton was the key target, going 6-164 with 2 TDs. What happened to the Illini? They gave up 52 points to La Tech.
* WVa star Geno Smith was 30-43-338 with 3 TDs vs Maryland. WR Tavon Austin was also key, going 13-179 with all 3 TDs.
* Kenny Tate did make a couple of plays for the Terps. The injury-plagued LB had 4 tackles, 1 TFL, and a PBU.
* Mississippi State CB Johnthan Banks continued his great Senior season. He picked off a pass and broke up 2 others vs South Alabama. Banks has 3 INTs on the year and 15 for his career.
* Tulane CB Ryan Travis had a solid day vs Ole Miss. He broke up 3 passes, had 5 solo stops, a FF, and a TFL.
* Oregon State had a big day through the air vs UCLA. WR Markus Wheaton was 9-150-1. He also had a run for 10 yards.
* UCLA LB Anthony Barr had 3 TFLs (2 were sacks), 7 solo tackles, a PBU, and a FF. He’s only a Junior.
* TCU has another good LB. Kenny Cain had 2 INTs vs Virginia. He was also in on 4 tackles and had 1/2 a TFL.
